There are plenty of companies who make suspension lifts for a 1997 F150 4x4. Trailmaster, Rancho, Superlift, ProComp, Fabtech, Whiplash, and Skyjacker just to name a few.

There are plenty of lifts available for the '97 RCD makes the best, its a 5" kit. I might just be biased considering I've had it on mine for about a year, but Rancho, Fab-tec and Pro-Comp all make lifts for that year as do trailmaster and superlift(though I do not recommend the latter two)Prices range anywhere from $1300 to $1700 depending on what you decide on for a kit, also keep in mind the higher the truck the larger the tires to fill the gaping holes, and with thes comes the necescity of re-gearing to preclude loosing performance and the can get expensive if you don't do it yourself
