What Lift?
#3
Bob,
Rancho makes a good solid lift. But they are limited on sizes.
If you want to go bigger you have to go with Skyjacker,Superlift,BDS,or Whiplash suspensions.
And if you can,try to regear so your not putting more stress on the engine and the drive train. It will help out in the long run.
Hope this helps.

IMO the best ones out there are the RCD, Rancho, Fabtech, Superlift, and then Skyjacker. If you want a huge lift Whiplash is about the only way to go.
To fit 35's you can use any of the above lifts and probably clear most 35's fine. I've heard of people with 3 inch body lifts clearing 35's. As for the gears it depends what you have stock. If it's 3.55's they will do for a little while but I would change them out to lessen the stress on parts. If they are 3.55's a 4.10 ratio with 35's would be back to stock performance. You can also get 4.30's and 4.56's but that becomes harder to find for the front (reverse cut gears) and even harder if you have the 9.75 rear.

RCD, Superlift or Skyjacker?
I don't want a body lift because I don't like the look
and like the height of a suspension. And I want to
know the best between RCD, Superlift or Skyjacker?
I like my Skyjacker lift on my XJ (cherokee) but thats
a straight axel. And I am either going to get Wrangler
MTR's or the BFG M/T KO's 35's.

LIFTS
I had great luck with my Superlift 5" and a 3" body lift on my 97'. I was running 38x15.5 Superswampers. No rubbing, all I had to do was extend my bump stops!
And it had a better ride than either of the f-150's I have had since!!
ALso, Skyjacker keeps being brought up...they do mot make a lift for 97 and newer f-150's.
RCD or Fabtech baby!!!

Yeah I was thinking about that and I don't need 38'
and 36's would would be pretty tight. Cutting fenders
take alot of pressure so you don't screw up. I cut my
fenders on my cherokee so I could flex as much as possible
with my sway bar dissconnected. But my truck will
not be much of a rock krawler, and more mud, sand and
towing. thanks
