Question of the Week: 2014 Raptor or 2017 Raptor?

For our newest Question of the Week, we want to know which Raptor you would buy if you were shopping right now?

Would you buy the 2014 Raptor with the V8 or wait for the 2017 Raptor with the new EcoBoost V6 and 10-speed transmission?

Make your pick in the poll above and tell us why below!

Stick with what you know now - it will be 2018 before they get the bugs out and make it worth buying.

Nah, with the way gas prices are spiking and how the environmentalist wackos are trying to stop gasoline engine production and force us all into Priuses, or something else that's (whiny voice) environmentally friendly, go for the Eco-boost V-6, I mean, the damned thing's got 450 horsepower

I'm still not sold on the Eco-boost. I just keep reading about people having issues with the turbos...If I could have the looks of the 2017 with the V8....dream truck.

Goin with the 2017, as of now the 2014s are a bad investment, with them selling for 15-20% over book, that will end when the 2017 hits the floors in November. My preorder for the 2017 should be here any week. If its 54k I will buy it but with what I have been hearing, dealers could be marking them up to 64k, it that's the case its not going to happen untill they are out and at dealerships.

2017 for me. Then I'll sell my 07 XLT. My 07 F150 XLT still drives like new, it's unbelievable. I have to remind myself often that I've had it for a while.

I don't need no stinking sun roofs either.

Likewise, 2017 for me, my '05 regular cab FX-4 still runs and drives like new and it's now got 119,000 + on the clock, doesn't smoke, doesn't leak, and when I hit the go pedal, it GOES
So why get rid of her when nothing's wrong and settle in with new monthlies in the neighborhood of $300 + a month?
The only problem I have with my truck is those damned cam phasers ticking Not to mention that with a new truck, I'd have a higher personal property tax rate, more stringent emissions
