Help,
I am trying to find my max tow capacity. Here is all the info I can find. I don't have access to the manual.
1991 F-150 4x4
351 EFI 5.8L
Auto Transmission E4OD
Extended Cab
GVWR 6250
Came from Factory with tow package/ Heavy rear springs
Axle Code 19N
Type GVM X141
Requires LT type tires

Figure it to be between #12,000 - #13,000 if 19N is a 3.55 gear. Just going off of my trucks specs, as we are pretty much the same that way.
IMO, you really should limit your trailer choices to ones that have a GVWR of #6000 or less for travel trailers. You could probably get away with more on a boat or flat bed trailer, as those don't have as much wind resistence to deal with.
I only say this because I tow a TT with a GVWR of #5000 and while I'm way under on my GCWR, I'm right at the trucks #6250 GVWR when it's all hitched up and ready to roll.
I have tons of performance left over and don't fret the hills at all. It works pretty hard when I do take it there, and I'm in second gear on the really steep ones, but it does very well and I don't feel it's tearing itself up in the process either.
