Question

Figure it to be between #12,000 - #13,000 if 19N is a 3.55 gear. Just going off of my trucks specs, as we are pretty much the same that way.

IMO, you really should limit your trailer choices to ones that have a GVWR of #6000 or less for travel trailers. You could probably get away with more on a boat or flat bed trailer, as those don't have as much wind resistence to deal with.

I only say this because I tow a TT with a GVWR of #5000 and while I'm way under on my GCWR, I'm right at the trucks #6250 GVWR when it's all hitched up and ready to roll.

I have tons of performance left over and don't fret the hills at all. It works pretty hard when I do take it there, and I'm in second gear on the really steep ones, but it does very well and I don't feel it's tearing itself up in the process either.

Good luck!

Mitch,

Thanks, I'll be towing a 5000 lb. boat.

Can anyone confirm the gear decode?

or the GCWR?

Thanks
