2002 F150 supercab towing mirrors?

Has anybody come across a good upgrade for the mirrors, so they stick out further. Cant see behind the trailer too good!

Mirrors

If you tow very frequently, invest in some large mirrors that are sturdy and not prone to shake. Even handier are some replacement mirrors that electrically extend and retract and have a BIG mirror head similar to the F-250 tow mirrors. Very expensive. I have some **** clamp-on mirrors made specifically for the 97 - 03 F-150. A snap to install and remove. Got them at Wal Mart at about $25 a pop. **** has a newer universal mirror that is a little longer and has an aerodynamic hole in it. Some states (Colorado is one) are now requiring tow mirrors when pulling a trailer.

I have a set of **** (actually Lucerix but they're identical) that I used for towing when I had my F150. These mirrors are made by **** and Bestop now. They are made with both manual and power glass but they are only manual extension. There are some out there that are power extending but those get into alot of money (about $500 a pair or more). Shefenacker makes the TTT mirror which has alot of nice features. It has large glass, spot mirror, manual extension, power/heated glass, and a clearance light. The only problem is they're in the $400-500 range. IMO the best bang for your buck is in the **** style replacement mirrors since they sell for $300 or less. The glass is much larger than the others and they are also somewhat reminicent of the Super Duty mirrors.

The first picture the PS mirror is extended and the DS is retracted. I thought they were very nice addition to the truck. If you're interested in them I did take them off the truck before I sold it. I haven't gotten around to getting them listed for sale yet. If you're interested in them send me an email.

Mirrors Trailer Tow Removable
Retail: $80.19
Online Price: $67.36

If you only tow a trailer occasionally then these removable trailer mirrors are just what you need. They slide over you existing mirrors to provide additional rear vision when pulling your trailer. Premium glass minimizes distortion and glare. Packed in pairs

Do you use those mirrors?

How do they hold up?
