humming sound from electric brakes

When my trailer is hooked up I have a humming sound coming from my speakers when I brake. If I turn the braking power level all the way down the hum is very faint. The higher i turn the power up the louder the hum is when I brake.
Any ides???
Thanks!

Sounds like a bad ground or something..... Is the stereo stock, or aftermarket?

I think the brake controller grounds to the metal part of the dash board where the connector is. If your amp is also grounded there, then that might be the cause of it??

Good luck!
