Can anyone tell me how I can find out if my truck has the factory tow package?

Yeah, look around under the carpet & see if you can find the build sheet.

 

two quick ways to find out.. call a Ford Dealer and give the Vin # , they should know by that. 2nd, look for the transcooler , passenger side lower area front of Radiator. The rear should have neat wiring out to the rear with at least a flat plug. If it it dont... prob no tow package
