Rear Spring Options...

So what are some good options to assist the rear leaf springs in their duties of towing the trailer?? I'm not sure what the tounge weight of my trailer is exactly, but it's pretty heavy. You couldn't tow it without the WDH, that's for sure.

I also may be imagining this, but seems like the truck as started to sag or settled a little from the continuous use of the trailer. So, I'd like to help it out. But, I don't want to kill the ride when the traler's not hooked up, and I don't want to increase the rear heigth, but I can play with my lift block to address that if it happens.

What are the options...add-a-leaf, helper springs, air bags, entire new spring pack, etc.

Thanks guys.

The only one of those options that is easily adjustable is air bags.

...and will not affect the unloaded ride. All of the otheroptions will make it ride like a tank when you aren't loaded down.

Check out Timbren suspension on line. They work great and very easy to install, 15 or 20 minutes. No adjusting and does not affect your factory ride.

add-a-leaf is gonna prob be your easiest and cheapest bet and most are adjustable.

the airbags are prob the best but will cost you a pretty penny.

Arkas, I also live in St Albert. Can you tell me where you got the Firestone Airbags installed for $365.00 thanks. The cheapest I could find the Airbags alone was $335.00.
