Belmont Machine Trailers: Are they any Good?

I hadn't heard of them, at least out here in Colorado and had to look them up. They are made in PA.
They seem to be made like everyone elses, but quality will need to be inspected. 2x3" angle constuction is pretty standard in these small trailers.
Look at the welds, do they seem clean?
Paint clean?
Did they prime first?
Is the wiring protected or did they just run loose wire?
These are signs of quality to look for in any trailer.
Check spacing of deck supports, 18-24" should be the norm. Larger spacing and it is lighter duty.
OVERKILL... are you buying multiple trailers, looking at a car hauler or a 5x10 utility?
I noticed both trailer inquiry posts are yours. They are definately different animals as far as construction.

Again I haven't axtually seen any Belmont Machine trailers so all I can say is they seem to be made like everyone else.
In the light duty single axle trailers they are all pretty much made the same in my opinion. The major differences will be in details and care taken during manufacture. This might not even be a difference between manufacturer's but even quality between trailers of the same brand. One might have been made by a new inexperienced employee or made just before lunch or quitting time.
The only way to really tell is to look at them both.....good luck
