I rarely tow anything, but I'd like to keep my receiver clean in the mean time and looking "original". I bought my truck used, though, and the receiver cover was missing.

I'd appreciate it if somebody could help me with the part number for the OEM Ford receiver covers (aka: the "Official Ford Logo Towing Hitch Receiver Condom")

The Wal-Mart receiver covers just aren't my style and I need to narrow my web search down from "F150 Receiver Cover".

You can also order from a dealer. No shipping cost and from the accessories catalog it was listed at $12.41. May be able to find cheaper, but with shipping it will probably be more.

 

$12.41 is cheaper than the one with a lighted Ford logo I got at the Zone.

 

Sorry for bringing this up from the dead... but does anyone know if this is rubber or plastic? I'm looking for the rubber version.

My neighbor has a (god forbid) new Tundra and he had the Toyota one of these on his truck and I was actually thinking of purchasing a Ford one for my truck when I saw it.
