I need to install a brake controller in the F150. Where is the 3x3 connector which interfaces with the brake controller? Is this accessible without removing any part of the dash panel or do you have to remove a panel to get to the connector???

 

dont have to remove anything, just looking under the dash by the brake pedal and it will be taped right around there!!!!

 

I haven't seen them taped anywhere...they are mounted with a plastic connection behind/above the OBDII port on the bottom of the dash panel.

Where did you find it?

 

The connector was under the dash (no kidding) to the right of the steering wheel. My wife could see it without removing any dash panels.
