Ideas and thuoghts of towing a 27 footer
I run a small detail shop and i usually pic up customers boat at the boat store and tow them home to clean up. Well Ive got a speed boat type boat that is 27ft and w the trailer is probably around 30-32ft. Says gvrw should be 10,000lbs and ive towed many many that said 8k but no where near the overall mass of this thing.. Will this be an issue?? Ive got bags so i know sag won't be a problem..

One last though....
If there is an accident that you are involved in no matter who's fault, you will probably get charged with an unsafe vehicle an numerous other over weight charges, wreckless, etc. Think thousands in fines not to mention what will happen to your insurance..... and yes it does happen every day.... nobody plans on being in an accident.

That is probably only a 21' boat and I doubt you had much more then #500 tongue weight anyway.... See how far back the axles are on the trailer... That's where all the weight is. I bet you and a buddy could lift the tongue of that trailer youselves.
When I was a teenager, we had a 18' Fiberform that had a iron block/head 305 Chevy in it on a Calkins single axle trailer and that thing was no longer then the one in your pic... My Dad and I would put our backs on the hull and lift to hitch the thing up! It had no tongue jack! It also had NO brakes!! We towed this with a 1971 F250 that had a slide in camper on the back!
Nice boat BTW!! I want one of those!!
