Prodigy Brake Controller

I just installed my Prodigy Brake Controller yesterday. So far, so good it is easy to install and use.

Up until now I would only tow about once every month and I would disconnect my timed brake controller.

Now, I will be towing weekly and heavier. That's why I upgraded my controller.

My question for you all is do I need to continue disconecting my brake controller after I use it each time, or should I just let it connected all of the time?

My controller has a lifetime warranty so it should hold up, but I don't know the issues with letting it connected.

Leave it, I wondered the same thing because I tow 5 times a year at most and I just leave it. I might during the winter and take the unit right out, but will forget and there it will stay. The led lights go out too after a few minutes.

When I had a prodigy on my previous truck I wired it up and left it connected year round. Never had an issue with it.

Those Prodigy controllers are great.
