What parts suffer?

Don't feel bad, there is not a person talking who hasn't done something stupid in or to a vehicle. I am extremely impressed that you loaded that much weight and didn't have an immediate problem! Speaks to Ford trucks and why they have their reputation. I wouldn't do it again. Unless like I had to tow a trailer holding the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders (Which still wouldn't add up to 3400lbs).

tell your boss that you broke the two rear leaf springs due to them not giving you a truck and you had to use your own truck....
they should give you something more then wheel barrows and carts to move 5000 lbs of anything...
the fact you needed to use your truck for work cause they're too cheap is not right...
i doubt anything happened though...

yea, i wouldn't load up that much weight in my truck, the most i have ever put is probly about 1500lbs max. your company should have some type of way to move heavy things other than YOUR truck and wheel barrows. they need to get a fork lift or should get a UTV and a trailer for it, something other than your truck
