What's the most weight you've had in the bed?

Just curious to see what the rest of you are hauling (if anything) in your beds?

I hauled two 2000lb loads of 2B gravel yesterday to make a new parking space for my truck since I bought it. I have an '01 S-cab 5.4L. The rear definately sagged but it didn't appear to be overloaded. Still thinking about adding an add-a-leaf to eliminate as much sagging for any possible future heavy weight.

Anyone else?

Quite a few years ago I had 4500lbs of oak fire wood in the bed of my 94 F150. Total loaded weight was just over 9000lbs, unloaded it was just over 4500lbs. I didn't think that it was anywhere near that much, I wouldn't have loaded it that heavy if I would have known, but I guess its a good thing that I put 1 ton suspension under the rear.

I don't remember the exact weight but it was something like 3000lbs of patio blocks (1 pallet+a couple) in the bed of my 04 and almost 6000lbs (2 pallets) in my fathers 05 F350.

i put around 2200lb's of seed corn in the bed of mine a couple years ago. it has overload springs on it so it only sagged down a couple inches. Looked pretty cool even though i couldnt see out the back window because of the bags of seed. truck rode a little smoother too. it was my 01 4x4 screw

I've loaded mine up to 3500+ lbs... not a problem.

I plan on beefing up the leafs and shocks... probably adding airbags.

I did some landscaping at my old house. I did 2 runs with 1 ton of gravel and went back for 1 ton of fill dirt. I had the bobcat operator load 1/2 ton at first but it didin't appear to be that much or have any effect on the truck so I said put another scoop in. I have an 02' F150 with a 6" RCD Suspension lift and 33" BFG's which are load D or E (can't remember which at at the moment). The Stone store was only a few miles from my house and the truck handled it very well.

2000-2500# in my 1998 F150 5.4L, 8' bed, Auto, 3.55ls, 83k. Gravel, wet mulch, floor tiles, and roof shingles are some of my heavier loads.

The old truck was hurting that day.

Yes, it was sagging bad even with the helper springs and add-a-leaf.

It had a hard time with it. Usually after a long heavy haul something breaks like a sway bar end link, tie rod end, or other parts effected by overloading like shocks.

An 3/4 or 1 ton would be a better choice for my needs. I'm still waiting on a 1ton that runs on H2O.

IDK! This was as low as I've had her. The wood was oak and it was green

During one of my drills (last bit of reserve duty after active service), I was helping Supply out by moving camo bags and radios from one building to the next. Probably about 2,000 lbs in the bed, did about 4 trips with that amount of weight each time.
