info on custom hoist/winch for deer processing

I just bought a '86 with a 7" lift (body/susp) and swampers. so its a big truck. I want to devise a hoist/winch system in the back so I can lift and process my deer off the back. Can anyone point me in the direction where to start? I am looking for the cheapest solution, I have seen these products for hundreds and hundreds... but I have also seen where people have built them themselves. any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

use 2x2 steel tubing.... and come out of the hitch, 90* up for a few feet and then 90* out a couple feet... put a hand winch on the vertical bar, a pully at the top 90, and end of the top bar....

my neighbor built one... just weld um up, maybe add a little bracing and you're good to go...

ok, thanks for the info. I am thinking since the truck is pretty high up already, I wouldnt need a very tall setup.... any idea where I can find a hand winch? I have tried to do the google searches but havent found what I am looking for yet. not sure if I am using the wrong search terms or what... thanks again.

for the winch we have used boat cranks. you can find these for cheap at junk yards where boats are. Then just replace the strap with a winch line.
