Ok I have a chance to get a good deal on a hidden hitch taken off a 06 F150 ext cab styleside. I have a 05 FX4 supercrew styleside. On hidden hitche's website it says its for 8/05 and up trucks, mine was built 11/04.

I think its because of some vibration dampner thats in the way, BUT I dont know what it looks like. I want to see if any of you have a pic or can decribe it so I can see if this thing will fit. Hidden hitch doesnt have a Phone# on thier page or I would call them. Thanks in advance guys.-Adam

 

Ok, so I found a pic of the vibration dampner and I dont have it. So...Should the 06 ext cab styleside hitch fit my FX4 w/o damper or are the mounting holes different?

 

it should work with some drilling.

 

Wont work... Guess Im buying a new hitch.
