I had never really checked my mileage when pulling my 24 ft Forest River enclosed car hauler. It is a 3740lb trailer with a 2450lb car in it with some tools. Not a lot as I want to weigh as little as possible for safety's sake. I checked my mileage going round trip to the race track tonight. About 100 miles total. I got 10.8 mpg. Thats almost 2 mpg's better than I thought it was. Granted most of this is on flat land though. Might have been quite a it lower if I had more hills. I run a 2001 Screw 2WD with 5.4 and a level 2 Edge with 4.11 gears. I also drove with OD on this time. I usually don't and it did not hunt any at all until I hit longer hills. Then I would punch the button.

That's not too shabby for a gasser!
It kind of pisses me off that my girlfriend's Dodge Ram 2500, Quadcab, 4x4, longbed Cummins, 6spd (with the Edge Juice/attitude) can tow a 13,500 pound 5th wheel and still get better mileage than my F150 gets empty... When her interior panels start to buzz, and the body seams are all terribly off I start to feel a little better about my Ford.
