GVWR of 9,900 lbs
That is just too much for a F-150.

Re-read the thread. 5000 pounds dry, not 6700 pounds dry is what everyone has recommended. You need to give up the front queen bed (closed off) or give up your half ton truck.

Mine is a front queen bedroom!! Does great. With that said however, I've spent A LOT of money on my truck to make it successful with it.

I just looked at the new F-450! I think I'm just going to buy a new truck.

Good idea! That way, you can get a pretty damn big toyhauler!

The new 6.7 diesel looks like it's getting a lot better fuel mileage than the old one. An F-450 would be quite a beast as a daily driver though - do you have a beater car or something to drive when you don't need a truck?

Run the numbers on the F-350, it *is* possible to get a toyhauler that will overload it!

Wish I had a 370Z for a DD!

You know I bought the car but I have to be truthful my girlfriend drives it not me haha!

I'll double check the numbers for the F-350 I still think if I go through all the hassle of just getting a bigger truck then I'll stay frugal with the toy-hauler, I would definitely go the 5th wheel route though. I think I'll stay with in the 30' and 32' range so I know I have plenty of towing power I don't want to over do it with any truck and be unsafe ya know.

Can you imagine having a trailer that's too much for a 350 dually??? Must be nice! I'd run out of money before I ran out of truck in that scenario...which coincidentally happens to be the inverse of my current situation.

You're definately punching out at 20? Congrats! I hit 17 this year, my current job will at a minimum take me to 21, and I am having waaay too much fun to have to grow up...but then I'm not in the Corps either
