The place is gorgeous! Has to be the cleanest campground we go to and the kids love the huge playground!

Dry weight is 4100lbs.. With a full tank of fuel, stereo equipement, and my misc gear on the boat its 5000lbs. Trailer is somewhere around 1100-1300lbs.

So roughly 6200lbs. tow weight

Took a road trip a few weeks back with the boat and 5 adults in the cab. truck bed full of luggage, cooler, spare tire, tools etc.

Truck handled it like a champ and performed flawlessly.. cruise control set at 70mph averaged 9.6MPG

On one occasion I passed a slow moving vehicle (45mph). I was just a tad over 80MPH by the time i was in front of the slow vehicle and moving back into our lane. Simply awesome - my old 5.4 would have fell on its face, and failed to make that pass.

And this truck has 3.55LS rear end, my old 5.4 has 3.73LS.

Well, a 6 speed trans and over 400 lbs/ft of TQ don't hurt either!

You'll walk all over my 97 5.4, but mine is paid for and only cost $17k in 2001 when I over paid for it back then!

When you get over 227,000 miles on it let me know!

Nice setup BTW! Love those ski boats and if I could afford one, I'd be all over that Ecoboost!

My spring 2011 "My FORD vehicles of tomorrow" advertising magazine from Ford shows one towing an 11300# trailer without a WD hitch, which I found amusing.

Add me to the "paid for club" 2006 F150 Screw 198k. Paid $7,000 for it last week. Love the new trucks but REFUSE to have another vehicle payment EVER.

Nothing impressive for the or challenging for the Ecoboost. 48 miles yesterday with the boat yielded 15.8 mpg (half highway at 65 and half 2 lane roads at 55)
