Screwed up brake control, which one to get now?

The brake control I currently have in my truck worked great for the first 1-2 years that I had it, but now I have to re-calibrate it everytime i hook up to a trailer. I thought that I was doing something wrong, so I pulled it out and installed it in my dads 02 F350 and put his controller in my truck. He tired messing with the thing and had the same issue as me, we put it in hooked up to one of the GNs adjusted everything, it worked great. Then we just unplugged the wiring plug and plugged it back in, all the adjustments were screwed up and had to redo everything all over again.

So now I am sick of that POS and going to get a new controller. But which one?? I was thinking of maybe a Prodigy P2 or P3?

What do you guys think? Any others I should looks at? Also were is the cheapest place to get which ever brand everyone suggests?

Thanks alot!

Prodigy P2 or P3. Both will offer the same great braking performance. I really like my previous generation Prodigy.

I'm happy with my P2, but if I were buying new I'd spring the few extra bucks and get a P3. Also, e-trailer has the P3 for $20 cheaper than Amazon.
