Feeback F150 pulling 23 ft

All - I have been reading thru all the posts to get some ideas but figured I would ask direct as well. I have a 2008 F150 Screw Fx4 with 5.5 bed and 5.4L. Ready to buy a 23L x 7.5W aluminum snowmobile trailer which weighs in around 2250lb. I will load ATV's, Motorcyle etc.. the most weight in addition to the trailer will be 2500 - so total payload (in trailer and bed of truck) plus trailer will be under 5,000lb.

I have asked a bunch of people at the trailer showrooms what they think and they tell me I can pull this with no issues and my truck will not sink muich with the weight. But they have a vested interest in telling me what I want to hear. What do you all think? Should I be concerned? Most hauling with be in Michigan but will make a run to Sturgis, Florida, etc... once in a while. thanks for the help.

Your truck will pull it all day, all night. Get a weight distribution hitch, preferably with sway control and decent brake controller.

You will be at approximately 1/2 of the truck's max tow rating. Piece of cake. If it weren't for my manual transmission I could tow that all day and all night with my 4.2 and be within limits.

Make sure the trailer has electric brakes.
