Towing another Vehicle?

I need to go get my buddy's 1988 S15 Jimmy since it broke down on him last night. It will be about a 350 mile round trip. I will be borrowing a 18 foot car hauler to load the jimmy on. Should i be ok towing this with my truck? Ive never towed anything this heavy before with the truck. I have a 16 foot trailer i tow quite a bit but it never has alot of weight. The truck is a 5.4 with the factory towing package with 3.55 LS. Im thinking i will be alright but wanted the professional's opinion

Find out the weight of the car and trailer and compare that to the door panel placard. I tow a 26' boat with my similar truck and am at max.

You should be okay. But like On Holiday mentioned, match the weight of the load to GVWR on the door. My assumption of the total weight would be between 5-7000 lbs. Also trailer brakes would help out a lot if you dont already have them.

a little research on google and its saying the jimmy should weigh around 3100lbs. I have no idea how much the trailer weighs

The gvwr says 6600lbs on the sticker.. so i am thinking it should be fine unless the trailer weighs more than i think it does.
