Trailer Prob. Right hand light works but no turn signal/hazard.
So I put a new 7-blade plug on the bumper of my F150 to replace the old worn one. Everything hooked up and all works fine...EXCEPT my right turn signal/hazard. That's it. Right light works when headlights are on though. So I know the bulb is good. I checked the fuse under the glove box in the truck, F36, and it's fine.
Just don't understand why the right turn signal/hazard doesn't.

Your turn signal/brake light works off the same light/wire.
It should be the green wire.
Looking at your truck plug it will be in the 3 o'clock location. Test to see if the truck plug is hot by using a test light. If it is hot, check the wire at the light and see if it is hot. If it is check connections (including ground) and bulbs at the light

Thanx for the reply. Today I checked the truck plug with my multimeter. Right and left signals were showing same mV. Plugged the trailer in to test that right side light and Hooray....everything is working.
I haven't changed anything. I must have been doing something incorrectly the other day. But all is good for now. I pulled the trailer around a little. Like 5 miles or so and checked the lights three times during. I'll keep an eye out of course. I carry one extra light of each type when pulling the trailer in case one goes bad.
Anyway, here's to happy towing. Thanx
