You never told us as far as I can see what the payload rating is on your new truck on the door sticker. Payload is EVERYTHING you put in the truck, hitch weight, and pin weight.
The *ONLY* 4x4 Screw that has a payload rating over 2000# is with BOTH the Max Tow *AND* the HD Payload option (8200# GVW package), which I'm pretty confident you do NOT have. Even that is only rated at 2310# payload, which I know for a fact you are over with a 2000# pin weight.
I have no doubt that the tow FEELS fine to you, but you ARE overloaded.

Back again. I did purchase the Jayco as planned and drove it home with no problems. Had a full tank of propane tanks as well.
After everyone telling me how overweight I would be; today traded in the 2011 Ford F150 V8 for a 2013 Eco boost Larient 4x4 which brings my maximum trailer weight ratings up an additional 2,000 lbs to 9700 lbs as opposed to the 7700 for the 2011 V8. Having the fifth wheel installed tomorrow.

Based on your claim that your tow rating is 9700 pounds that means you do NOT have the Max Tow Package.
I'm guessing your max payload is way lower than your pin weight of 2000 pounds... especially since you have a Lariat which means all the bells & whistles (more weight than a XLT!)

it is most definitely not. I have an Ecoboost with the max tow and I pull a camper so I am familiar with the numbers. The max tow gives me an 11,100 pound tow rating.... the numbers vary slightly depending on the setup...

Nope, pretty certain he was decided before he even posted here. Lets just hope that his family, or even worse, someone else's family don't pay for it on the road.
