Recently purchased a 2023 F-150 XL with Rattler trim package, which includes Max Towing package including a factory installed Integrated Brake Controller. When pulling my 7k# trailer, the towing screen shows no gain when brake pedal is applied but shows gain output when applied manually. This happens when moving as well as not moving. Dealer claims that two on-board modules are not communicating and that Ford will do an Over-the-air (OTA) update to software, by VIN #, to correct. The promised date of 7/12/24 was delayed and now the rescheduled date has past. The dealer has contacted the Field Service Engineer but there does not seem to be any answer as to when the update is expected. Are there others who have this problem or have resolved it?
