F250 Break in period

We are about to purchase a new F250 4x4 to tow our first TT. I'm wondering what the reccomended break in period is before I should begin towing...

I think my owners manual said 500 miles. I'll try to remember to double check that for you.

Do the newest trucks even have a break-in period?

I know it used to be 500 miles (1000 miles before towing). The way they're building the trucks these days, it may no longer be the case. However, I think I would take it easy for at least the first 500 miles. Then, again, I know of people who started towing with their brand new trucks with no apparant problems thousands of miles later.
