Yeah... it's very cheap to own a manual.

With my 4.10's I barely need to use the gas to accelerate from a stop... so it puts like hardly any wear on the stock clutch lining... it's kind of funny.

I can say that my crawl ratio is nice... 1st gear and I'm doing like 4 mph... I can get out of my truck while it is in gear and walk next to it.

MAKE SURE THEY INSTALL A NEW PILOT BEARING Sorry for the caps, no I am not. I do not see it in the parts that they are replacing. It is one of the most critical parts for proper clutch and transmission life. Ask to see the old one when the job is done. Did I say that this was important? I cannot emphasize enough how important this little part is.
The tip input shaft of the transmission rides on this bearing. If this part fails it can take out your clutch and tranny...... /rant

so i just got my truck back from the shop today. $650 bucks. new slave cyl. hydraulic lines tranny fluid clutch fluid and i think thats it so for the labor i dont think to bad. he said clutch and flywheel looked great.

but when i shift if i let the clutch out to fast it jerks really hard so i have to slowly is this cause its got alot of pressure built up or should i take it back in and ask him whats up with it?
