okay so heres a quick rundown of my truck

2004 f150
supercrew

Its time for a new transmission, im running 35" tires (idk if that will effect anything) Is there a good transmission that i can swap mine out for or should i just replace the old one with the same one.

also wheres a good place to get a new or lightly used one (50k miles or less) im in western MA

That Sucks! I know the feeling, I had to replace mine on my 06 FX4 @ 91,000 I just went with the factory rebuild from Motorcraft. It comes with a 100,000 mile warranty.

Yea thanks, What gears do you have? I'm running 3:55 with 35" tires, I think that was part of my problem.

X2

kinda shocked someone else said it first!

I love my trans from him. I have a whole thread of the "oops" and "aww damn"s I went through with another local builder.

sounds kinda like you've finished that trans off.
