Switching to Amsoil Synthetic Trans Fluid

Mark, this is the debate which we are talking, the trans shop says the syn's are too slick, everyone else says they are ok...We are going to do the experiment with 50% and see what happens...

I believe these are aftermarket trans that have special clutches in them...I know they are saying the trans. are bulletproof..

When you drain the converter and everything is there any special refill or start up procedures or cautions? What technique do you use to refill it because that's alot of fluid and I don't want to burn up a converter or something by doing it wrong. Thanks.

I'm planning on using Amsoil fluid but I noticed that they use the term "Universal" on their ATF fluid. Don't ya just hate that???
