Transmission Fluid Change in Taurus

Transmission Fluid Change in Taurus
With the infinit wisdom of everyone at F150online, I'm hoping someone can tell me how to completely remove all of the old tranny fluid out of the tranny in a 96 Taurus. I just got this car at a surplus auction, and it was used (maybe abused) as an administrative car for a police dept.
I dropped the pan and expected to be able to drain the torque converter like in my F150 - no luck. I've searched the internet and found severals sites that say to disconnect the oil cooler and let it pump out fluid while I pour in new fluid.
So where is the oil cooler, and what does it look like? Or is there another/better way to do it?
PS - I found a Taurus forum (www.tauruscarclub.com), but it is quite lame compared to F150online. After getting approval from the admin, I'll post this question over there, too, but I don't expect much to come from it.

The cooler is in the radiator. There are lines from the transmission to the radiator.
On the driver's side of the car, on the side of the transmission facing the front of the car are two steel lines that run from the transmission to the radiator. You need to find a good location along these lines to disconnect one of the lines. I'm not familiar enough with the '96 Taurus to tell you exactly which line to disconnect. On my '93 Taurus I disconnected the line that was on the passenger's side of the radiator, near the top.
