DeereGeff didn't break any rules of the contest. I don't know why some of you are getting so bent out of shape about this. That comment above about knowing the difference between right and wrong...lame. HE DID NOTHING WRONG. If it were in the rules, I'd agree with you guys, but it wasn't. What you're really saying is that there are implied rules. Well, please let the rest of us know what else is in the implied rules so we can all play fair. Seriously, some of you are coming off as whiny, sore losers.

Hell I asked to be removed from the contest because some people were whining about me being in it, so sore loser I am not..

But this is meant to be in FUN, and it is amazing that OVER NIGHT from his post he made he took the lead over not one, but TWO trucks being almost 20pts behind!

It would of been fine with me if he made a post reminding people to vote for TOTM... but he didnt do that he made an advertisement for his truck and didnt even post about the other trucks, someone else had to do that... In my opinion that is low, very unmanly, desperate thing to do.

and e-feelings or whatever you are talking about braindonor (pretty sure you really did donate your brain and had your bung hole replace it) its not about internet, phone, or mail feelings, its about being a man with morals and character...

DeereJeff, BrainDonor, and whoever else agrees with what DeerJeff did... if you think its fair lets reopen June TOTM and clear all of the votes, anything goes... I will go on 12 of my forums, call 1000 people, and staple flyers to telephone poles asking people to vote...

and there ya go... so it must of meant enough for DeerJeff that he would loose the respect of his fellow man (except for his small group of followers like you) to win an e-poll... wow now talk about e-feelings... I sure hope he feels really e-good when he logs on to see his e-trophy!

 

While I understand why some of you have your panties in a wad, it remains that there are only a few folks here that are fanning the flames. While I concur that it's questionable, I didn't have a rule in place to keep it from happening and, as such, I cannot punish, banish, or otherwise demote the fact that he won.

Further, Geff has been, off and on, in the lead for several days now. I'm not going to address individual comments that have been made here as several of them are TOTALLY off and have no factual basis other than an opinion about how it should've, would've, and could've happened. Further, a few of you guys are really sounding like absolute sore loosers with this and that further detracts from the situation here.

The bottom line is this, the contest is over for the month and it's DeereGeff's win. Rules will be in place next time around that will prevent this type of a thing from happening and I'm sorry that it came to the point that many of you feel the need to bash a positive thing here at the site and I'm sorry that several of you won't concur with my decision to allow the votes to stand but, while it may be an issue to some, it wasn't a violation of the rules.

If you all want to talk about it, please PM me. Otherwise, the TOTM contest for June is over, DG is the winner, and we'll be cranking up the July contest once we work through the details.

I have to address this because the better side of me cannot stand when someone flies off the handle, shows his/her ****, and then tosses INCORRECT data at a discussion/disagreement to fuel the fire and inadequately and incorrectly support his/her case...

I followed this for quite a while... DG was, believe it or not, in the lead more than once. TA was in the lead more than once. You were in the lead more than once. I can scroll back through the logs to support this -- it's correct.

DG was *never* down 20 votes. That's ludicrous and I know you know that. He's actually been up over the past couple of days by a onezy or twozy.

Like you said, it's for fun. You're the one here that can't seemingly let go...disagree with it; that's fine. I can't and wouldn't try to convince you to change your mind. I can't say that I'm a huge proponent of what happened but, I cannot stand it when someone has a vendetta and cannot sit down until he or she jumps up and down enough so that they sound like a kid that didn't get that Micky Mouse lolly-pop at the candy store that they wanted sooooo badly.
