On all Fords since like the beginning of time, cylinders 1 through whatever are on the passenger's side, from front to rear. Cylinders 5 through whatever are on the driver's side, from front to rear.

parked it outside and he bought a Lincoln Contintal

we decided that it needs a long block since its eating coolant and knocking like crazy
