Question Revving in idle with my '03

Lately I've noticed that when I'm idle my standard V-6 gently revs, going from 500 to 900, every eight to ten seconds. Last week I almost plowed into my garage wall as I was pulling in slowly and I got that little extra oomph. It goes in next week, but I'm just wondering what is up.

THanks

JD

Check the voltage on your TPS. It is the sensor on the right hand side of the Throttle Body. The voltage should be between .95 volts and .99. Put the mulitmeter in the center hole and the ground to the battery. If it is off you loosen the two screws on the side a little and move it up or down to get it with the .95 and .98 volt range. This takes very little movement to acheive.

Hope this helps..
