Ive had headers on my 97 for about two years now and havent had an exhuast leak or even had to turn a bolt on them since installing. I went for the pacesetter headers from JCWhitney and they ran about 160. They were painted but that didnt last very long once they got warm. The install was a real pain but I do see the benefits or them along with my true duals.
