Hey Guys

I was wondering who has had there Idler Pulley go out on there 5.4's and how many miles were on the motor....I have now 146K on this truck. The other day I went muddin for a couple of hours... well this morning I am mnoticing a whine/howl from the front of the motor, it is not the alternator, that has only 5k on it and is from FORD. But I am leaning towards the Idler pulley. I was just wondering who has had what luck with there Idler Pulley's. And the whole engine compartment was pressure sprayed down to get all the dirt and mudd out.
