Vacuum Hose Size/ Brake Booster Lines
Does anyone know the exact size of the two vacuum lines that are connected to the Brake booster on a 97 F150 ? There is one line that goes from the intake manifold to a little fitting by the brake booster and another one is on the front of the brake booster and goes to a hard line around the back side of the engine it appears. Mine are falling aprt and I want to dress up the engine bay a bit so I want to use Spectre Braided line with there fittings. I anyone JMC, FORD TECH, NEAL the HP FREAK whoever knows this for sure please give me the size of those vacuum lines and any others and maybe all the locations of them. I have been searching my Ford Manual and it doesnt seem to show all the vacuum lines. I will be replacing all of my vacuum lines also with these www.hosetechniques.com The hoses havea liftime warranty and are supose to be way better than stock rubber.

Well it turns out that www.hosetechniques.com does not know if I can use there hoses for the brake boost lines they have never put them on for that but they are going to take another look to see if they would be compatable for use there. So what i have done is to buy some Braided Stainless Steel Lines that I will use for the Brake Booster Vacuum lines. Looks good and will be strong enough. The hosetechniques lines can be used for the lines that go to the EGR tube also so after I get all my hoses replaced I will be posting pictures in my Gallery for anyone that may be interested in upgrading there vacuum hoses. Mine are just falling apart turning inot dust.
