miss fire #3

my 97 , 5.4 is setting a code, i have a freind that scanned it and it shows miss fire number 3.

i think number 3 is the 3rd one back from the front, on the passenger side, is that the correct location.

i am going to replace the coil and plug.

Yes that is right. The cylinders are from the passenger side 1234, and the driverside 5678. Hope this helps!

thanks, changing the plugs and coils being such a PITA, i wanted to make sure. at least #3 isnt that bad.
