2001 Expedition Rough Idle

I recently purchased a 2001 Expedition 4.6L 4x4 with 31K miles. After a few days I noticed an engine groan on acceleration and a rough idle when stopped in gear. The Ford dealership told me that the engine mounts needed to be adjusted and re-tourqued as per a Ford service bulletin.

They did the work which helped a little with the engine groan but the idle is still rough. The dealer acknowledged the problem but stated that there was nothing wrong and I would get used to it.

Is this a common issue with these engines? Has anyone had similar problems? Any hope in fixing it or am I stuck with the vibration?

I would make sure the coolant tube above the no 4 cyl is not leaking coolant onto the no 4 wire. This will cause a rough run. Did the dealer give any codes? Also check the Mass Air Flow Meter for any dirt or dust on the small coiled wires inside the sensor. The MAF can be cleaned with brake cleaner.
