I've read the A-Z on piston slap on the website. A couple weeks ago my f-150 was in the shop for piston slap. At the time I've never heard of it. The dealer said it was exactly what it was as listed on this website. They never mentioned anything about a new engine. "not surprised" Anyway I called the dealer back today about a new engine and they said to bring it in and they'll look at it. The PS started around 25K. Doea anyone want to stay posted on the matter?

PS: The service manager mentioned that ford is having a whistle issue in the '04 f-150 driveshaft.
