2 gas tanks but one doesn't work

Hi Guys
Went to the store today and got in the truck and it wouldn't start. Finally after looking at everything that I thought might be the problem,I swiched over to my 2nd tank and it started right up.Do I need a new fuel fiter,or should I drop the tank and clean it out. This is something that I really don't want to do.Thanks for any replys...........bigtomj

Sounds like the fuel pump in the first tank is the culpret to me!

If you change it out yourself -- be careful! A "dropped" drop-light and gas can blow your a$$ up!!!!
