Not sure if your motor is the roller motor or a standard hydraulic cam, but if it has a standard hydraulic cam shaft then everything should be pretty easy. I wouldnt think you would have to change distributors either. If your motor has a roller cam shaft then here's where it becomes a pain. You would need to research Mustang sights. There are a lot of ppl who like to convert their EFI roller motor mustangs to carb for some reason. The intake bolts up fine, however the distributor is a problem. You would need to find a distributor from an '85 Mustang 5.0L. Thats about all I can help you with there bud.
