Engine Miss?

How do your coil & wires look? I've only had one go bad (coil), but it ran alright, but when I put a load on the engine it did the hesitation, run rough bit. Luckily, it was under 36000 miles.

Sounds like "the stumble"; more than likely time for plugs and wires at 112K.

Exclamation

I have the same problem with a 99 4.6 super cab auto. I just got a new fuel filter put on at ford and it is still doing "the stumble". The truck only has 53000 miles on it. is it really time for new plugs and wires?
