100K Tune - Up
My '98 F-150 has gone past the 100,000 mile mark and I figured it's time for the big tune-up. I know there are certain things to replace at or before 100,000 miles, but I'm uncertain what I should expect.
What's a typical 100K tune-up on the 5.4L consist of and what should I expect to pay? Also, if anyone knows of a good shop in the Reno, NV area I'd appreciate it.
Thanks, all.

I would check the following areas to see which ones have been serviced:
- Tranny fluid/filter
- plugs/wires
- coolant flush
- belt/hoses
- fuel filter
- brake pads/rotors
- air filter
- rear differential/transfer case oil
Also check your manual to see what else should be done, and then keep drivin her!!

I did it myself for $120 and some change, split knuckles and a 12 pack... oh and approximately 8 hours of work (I am such a novice!)

Wow, 3 hours!
Well, I think the first 4 hours was alot of thoughtful planning and "top end" removal. At first look it was a duanting task. I am sure it could be done in 3-4 hours now that I know what to do
I even removed heater hoses- what a mess but, at the time it seems like it was the right thing to do- but it isn't necessary.
