i pulled some codes from my truck today, p1211, p1690 what are they? i found 3 others but i got the discription on those. thanks!

 

Neither code appears to be valid in my books. Sure you read those right?

 

yeah, i think lol i also got p0460,p0602, &po605. thanks for checking it out. i'll try pulling the codes again tomorrow and double check on those. thanks again!

 

By the looks of it, you have a damaged / corrupted PCM with a "P0602" & "P0605". I wouldn't trust any of the other codes produced by the PCM until the PCM gets reprogrammed.

P0602 - Control Module Programming Error
This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) indicates programming error within Vehicle ID block (VID).
VID data corrupted by the scan tool during VID reprogramming.

P0605 - PCM Read Only Memory (ROM) error
The PCM ROM has been corrupted.
An attempt was made to change the calibration
Module programming error
Physically damaged PCM

Whoops, I was looking in the wrong book.

With the definition of those codes, I'd be inclined to think it's something with the tuner like Steve said. Kinda hard to have an ICP or wastegate solenoid fault when you ain't got neither on your engine.
