ok my check engine light is blinking and i recently gave it a tune up, but oil gauge is running over 1/2 way and when i accellerate, the engine seems to bog down. Bad spark plug maybe? I was passing an rv and towed trailer, after exiting freeway the light started to blink. 5 min prior to that it was runnning like a badd ford should!

 

A blinking CEL usually indicates a misfire. Go get the codes read and find out which cylinder the misfire is coming from.

 

You need to fix the miss before you do damage to your cat converters.
