Superchargers

Superchargers
I have read pages of info about superchargers and how they work.
Before I spend the big bucks, the questions are,
1. Which one is the most reliable?
2. Who gives you the best tech support?
3. Are there good and bad points.
4. Do some take additional maintenance and tuning?
5. Is there anything I have forgotten?
The reviews at this link say there are many serious problems.

I appreciate any input.

I can only say that I have had my powerdyne supercharger on my truck for about 3 years I have added a tune and aftercooler, I could not think of driving the truck in it's original non supercharged state. Performance is great fuel economy is better than stock. You have to be willing to work with it. I was able to do the original install in 4 hours. My truck is driven daily and has never been down. The powerdyne is coparably cheaper than most other chargers and the most quite of all. Totaly dependable and even if the supercharger fails take the belt off and drive it as normal.
You will hear all kind of opinins of what brand is best. I am over-driving this unit and it has been OK 10# boost. I am not saying that if I was starting from scratch that I would stay with the powerdyne, But it fit my budjet and then I was able to upgrade as money has allowed. And now I have spare head units and parts so it will stay with me. I would check with Mike Troyer at Troyer performance and see what he can offer in a complete package as his customer service is top of the line. (don't expect much from many companys) Any way that's my 2 cents worth If I can help with any questions let me know.
