bypassing the a/c compressor

The a/c compressor has gone bad on my 1992 f150 with a 302 engine. I would like to get a smaller belt and just bypass it until summer. becasue the condencer is also leaking. Does anyone know what size belt will allow me to bypass the a/c compressor. I called an advance auto and they said that there are too many belts for them to help me by measuring.

On my Mustang I did the same thing. I just took a piece of rope, ran it around the pulley's in the route that it goes, stapled it together, and matched it up at the store. Let me know if this works for you.

302/351s without AC have an idler in the exact same spot so there is no non AC belt.

Unplug the compressor clutch and it will not engage the compressor. Keep the belt that you already have.
