Doesnt Romeo heads have different valve covers? How about intakes? The 2003 trucks have plastic intakes vs. my aluminum intake. If I get Romeo heads, will my intake line up right ir will I have to get a new one/gasket match my old one. This is a whole lot of crap
Can somone provide a link to a set of Romeo heads that will solve my probelm for a fair price? <-----this would be a great help!!!!!!!!!!!

No I don't think that it is that easy.
I am putting an 02 engine in my 97.
The intake from the 97 fits but the intake gasket from a PI head will not match up to a NPI intake.
The intake valley is different and the water pump line and knock sensors interfere with the old lower intake.
I had to buy new NPI intake gaskets and remove the locating pins, and "massage the bolt holes" so that they would fit the new PI heads.
Also there are other fit problems PI to NPI, Windsor to Romeo.
What sensors are there and which way is the intake situated.
Do your homework before you thing everything just snaps together.

The valve covers from your 5.4 will not fit romeo heads. the valve covers from a romeo powered f150,explorer and i think a crown vic will have the oil fill on the left side. your intake will bolt up fine to those heads.

but all PI heads windsor, and romeo have the same port shapes and use the same intake manifold gaskets

Well I indeed do have PI heads. Stamped on the side of my pass. side head is "R-F XL1E 6090 C20D" "PI" is stamped just below that. So......when going from windsor PI heads to Romeo PI heads I will be gainig the extra spark plug threads I desire....CORRECT? Also I will have to change valve cover because windsor covers wont fit romeo heads....CORRECT? Last question....will my intake ports on my intake(windsor PI) line up with those on the new heads(Romeo PI)? <----this is my next problem that needs to be determined!
