Man those are some quick times. I can not imagine doing the COP'S in 20 mins or a plug and COP change in 45 mins or less. I'm impressed.
It takes me 20 mins or longer to remove the hold down screws on COP's #4,#7 & #8 and another 10 mins to remove the other 5 screws. You guys have had some serious practice.

I bet I could lay a $100 bill on a tool box and have anyone show me they could replace the COP and spark plugs only on no. 3 and 4 in 45 minutes and they could not do it. There hands would be bloody trying to prove it.

Yeah, I can believe it.
Like I believe a bone stock LS1 makes 330 rwhp on a Dynojet.

If any of you guys that can change them out quick live near me. I would be more than happy to drive over, and have you supervise me do it. If you're that quick, then hopefully some of your skills will rub off on me, and make it not take about 6 hours. Which is what I plan on it taking me when I attempt at it really soon. Any takers???

LOL wow this is kinda funny. It pays 1.8 hours to do PLUGS on a 2005 5.4. Let alone 1.2 for the coils.
Buy these:
Snap-on 7.2-Volt Cordless Screwdriver
7MM 1/4 universal 6point
You can even get the cheapie brand of the universal and have a 3" and 6" 1/4 extension. You will be done in 20 minutes easy. Also that electric gun is probably the most useful tool in my tool box. Not enough torque to break or strip bolts, but enough to give a good confident bolt down torque.
Just unplug each coil, remove the bolt, and you dont even have to take the fuel rail out of the way or even touch it... If you take 6 hours doing that, then you seriously should not be working on your own truck.

Taking your time and willing to learn how to work on your own truck is great. You will save so much $$ in the long run.

How bout when a piece of hard plastic falls into the pulg bore, and wedges between the pulg nut and the wall, preventing you from getting a socket on the plug? And you can't just blow it out....
Yea that was me,on top of my Lightning with the blower off (I was cleaning the intercooler heat exchanger too) sitting in the engine compartment with 2 picks and an air gun in my mouth. What was going on a 1 hour job turned into an all nighter.
